Cross Country Registration is closed!
Cross Country Meet Schedule is TBD.
Coaches notes for each meet:
Bibs, tags, pins, etc provided by timing company. Go to timing tent prior to meet start
Coaches meeting prior to each race by timing company tent
Return bib package to timing company with any unused material after each event
Tents and team camp area set up is allowed at each venue. Please remain clear of start and finish line.
Please do not leave any trash when leaving; we appreciate these facilities hosting our events.

Dates: September 14th, September 28th, October 5th, and October 19th (City Meet)

All Parishes will host their own teams other than indicated below:
Nativity will host St. Michael
St. Agnes will host Christ the King, Holy Name, John Paul II, Our Lady of Unity, Resurrection, and St. Patrick
Meets are held on Sat mornings with 3rd and 4th graders starting at 9:00 am with rolling starts for all other classes.
3rd and 4th graders run 1000 meters (.62 miles)
5th and 6th graders run 1600 meters (1 mile)
7th and 8th graders run 2400 meters (1.5 miles)

The top 30 runners from CYO and PLKC City Meet in each division qualify.

CROSS COUNTRY GENERAL INFORMATION
Q: When does the season begin and end?
A: XC Meet dates are 9.14, 9.28, 10.5, and 10.19 (City Meet). Check with your AD/DSM for information regarding practices.
Q: Who can run and when are games typically held?
A: Boys and Girls grades 3-8 Sat mornings
Q: How many meets in a season?
A: 4 meets - 3 regular season meets and the City Meet.
Q: Does the parish provide uniforms?
A: Yes. Contact your parish Director of Sports Ministry AD/DSM.
Q: When are practices during the week?
A: Practice starts August. Contact your parish AD/DSM for details. CYO is not involved with parish practices or tryouts.
